After the screw air compressor cooler is used for a long time, the surface will be covered with dust. The bicarbonate such as calcium and magnesium in the water will form scale in it, so that the air compressor inlet and outlet temperatures will rise and the air cannot be cooled. At a predetermined temperature, the air compressor is tripped at a high temperature. Therefore, the screw air compressor cooler needs regular maintenance.
The screw air compressor cooler should be cleaned regularly according to the environmental conditions, so that the compressor works at normal temperature to ensure a long service life. When the cooler is dirty, the compressor exhaust temperature will increase. The outside of the air-cooled cooler and the water side should be cleaned every 1500 hours.
Keeping the unit operating at the ideal operating temperature (below 95 °C) is good for machine performance and longevity. The dirt can be removed by using a cleaning liquid. Otherwise, when the dirt is thick, the cleaning work is quite troublesome, and the cooling device needs to be disassembled, and the cleaning work can be completed by mechanical means.
When cleaning, stop and confirm that the pressure has been released, and pull down the main power switch. Disassemble the inlet and outlet tubing, inject the cleaning solution or soak it with a pump, rinse with clean water, blow dry with dry air or remove water with dehydrated oil, and then install the inlet and outlet tubing.
